Living in Florida comes with a certain amount of challenges that most people don’t have to deal with (for instance a feels like temperature of 102 in the last few days of September or an agley bloom called Red Tide that occurs every year and is just irritating when you go out to the beach.) however there are more benefits then there are downsides to our location. Today started out like most days down here do, hot and steamy, with a small breeze blowing off the Gulf. As my morning got going, I felt an overwhelming need to create something beautiful and because of the above mentioned malfunctions I found myself sitting at my desk to draw, rather than going on outing to enjoy Gods creations, although I do work well at my desk I still prefer getting out, ( but that’s another story) and as I sat and daydreamed about a little stretch of beach that I love to go to sit upon and contemplate life’s mysteries while I create a masterpiece the desk would have to do for today but no one said that I couldn’t draw that little stretch of beach. Life is GREAT.
