I moved to Florida on a whim where I started life over again, trying to forge a life that would not land me in jail or where I would end up dead because that’s where I was headed. I meet Cathy at a job I took while getting my real estate lic. In the early stages of our romance we got to know each other as most couples do and I found out she grew up in Illinois and that one of the reasons she loved Florida was because there was no snow here. One year the weather forecasters were calling for snow flurries when she commented that the only snow she wanted to see in Florida was in a picture hanging on the wall. Life is great.
