Jeremy (our oldest son) decided to move his wife and kids to Illinois to make a better life for him and his family, no one can fault him for that, however he wasn’t aware of just how harsh the winters are there. Cathy was missing them all terribly so we decide to load up the truck to go see them. I had a topper on the truck so I mounted a Camaro seat and space heater in the back for our daughter Jennifer and we put Autumn in the front between Cathy and I and we were off. When we got to Illinois they were calling for a snow storm of unbelievable size. As Cathy I were standing behind the house they were staying I leaned over and kissed her, joking we were in for some rough weather. The next morning we woke to subzero temperatures and a foot of fresh fallen snow. We spent the next couple days in a tent fort playing with the grandkids. Life is great.
